The majority of our programs are sourced from overseas and have been developed by Early Education Professionals in cooperation with major labels such as Sesame Street, Dr. Seuss, Fisher Price and PBS kids.
  • We build the child’s confidence and knowledge of using the mouse, teaching them to direct the cursor so it is on the object they require.
  • The children learn to consistently keep the mouse on the mouse pad. The mouse pad defines the area of movement, hence helping the children to maintain control of their movements.
  • We establish an understanding of shutting down a computer, which is very useful if they have access to a computer at home.
  • Our students become familiar with computer terminology.
  • We teach the children to respect the computer, and exercise patience while the computer loads.
  • We use letters, numbers, pictures and symbols to encourage learning. We play memory games and sort shapes, colours and sizes. Our students gain problem solving skills using direction and sequence while improving hand-eye co-ordination and fine motor skills. They learn about recycling and the environment and explore music, colours, songs and stories. Computers in Motion promotes confidence and self-esteem, creativity, sharing, communication, logic, decision making and observation.
  • Children generally work with a partner, a format that has proven to be a more effective way of learning. Students are able to maintain concentration for a longer period of time, in which they continuously interact, encourage and help each other and are able to share their fun. All these benefits increase their learning potential.
  • The classes progress at different speeds depending on the child’s comprehension and skill level. The older they are, and the more proficient they are with the mouse and software, the more they can achieve. The classes move along at a steady rate, but no child will ever feel like they are missing out. We are continuously there to guide them and offer assistance.
